This woman needed help. She was in a hopeless state, everyone seemed to be against her, and she had no family to run to. No friend. Everyone who ever promised her help ended up with reasons why they couldn’t fulfill their promise.
She remembers that there is someone who can help her. But she couldn’t afford him because his legal fee was so high. She decided to go and plead with him for help.
Please sir, I need your help! They want to take all my husband and I ever worked for. They want me to go back to level one please help me. Then the judge said please I don’t run charity organization here. If you need my services then you must pay for it.
She kept on crying and pleading for weeks or I guess months then the man decided to help her so he could have some rest.
The Bible said if the UNJUST JUDGE could listen to the cry of this poor widow, how much more your heavenly father.
Then it went further to say in Luke 18:8 when the Son of man comes, will He find faith in you?
Have you suddenly given up on God because He is taking time? Are you looking for other alternatives because you don’t consider waiting as an option?
Have you given up on God when He hasn’t given up on you? Or have you given up on your own self because you have come to believe the lie of the devil that nothing good can ever come out of Nazareth (you)?
God wants to find faith in us. He wants us like that widow to keep asking Him where everything seems to be working against us. He wants us to depend on him because without him we can do nothing anyway!
Go back to God and start from where you stopped. He is waiting to take you back. He has missed you so much.
He is your father and he is willing to do you good even this week.
