Our Response As Christians

It is not what you go through that matters but how you go through it.

Galatians 6:1

If you reject one on account of his weakness, you also reject his strength.

If you know your friend’s weakness, help him/her instead of rejecting him/her, because the person you help today may be the one to help you tomorrow.

You were once strong, but now you are weak.

They were once weak but now they are strong.

Tomorrow is a mystery, only God knows tomorrow.

The person you told not to smoke, lie, fornicate, etc. today may be the one to tell you don’t smoke, lie, fornicate, etc. tomorrow.

1^stCorinthians 10:12

If you think you are standing firm, be careful that you don’t fall.

The same God who said, “thou shall not fornicate” also said, “thou shall not tell lies”.

Sin is Sin

Only God can tell which sin is greater than the other.

If you stand praying and hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that you father in heaven will forgive you.

Mark 11:25-26

Jesus clearly linked faith to forgiveness.

We need forgiveness because relationships does not involve two perfect people. There is no such thing as a perfect person. Those perfect people do not exist on planet earth.

1^st peter 4:8

Above all things have fervent love for one another. Why? Because love covers a multitude of sin.

Love does not discuss sin.

Love does not gossip about a brother who has vises.

We say we love but we don’t practice love with our acts and character.

Phil 4:8

“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praise worthy, think about such things”

Because, the right knowledge of God settles peace. When you receive the right knowledge of God, you will know that both the victim and the perpetrator stand in helpless need of His divine forgiveness.

If you have the right knowledge of God, you will not put yourself in the position of a judge rather you will realize you need forgiveness as much as others do.
