The 3rd edition of the Love Literati contest hosted by ELSiEiSY blog and sponsored by Ebony & Indigo Natural Skin Care Boutique, Dhoney Beadz and Friends of ELSiEiSY, commenced on Monday, 13th of February 2017. All approved entry have been uploaded on the blog and emails sent to the entrants.
Thank you all for participating. I appreciate the trust on the brand – ELSiEiSY. We had over 90 entries but only 41 entries qualified for the contest. Some of the rejected entries were either below 500words, more than 1000words, not themed around love or didn’t just make sense (I am sorry to say). But this does not in any way mean you should stop writing or honing your skill. One thing I know about writing is – the more you write, the more you get better at it.
The qualified entries have been sent to our esteemed judges (Walter Ude, sally Kenneth Dadzie, Chinonye Chidolue and Deoye Falade) to mark based on the following:
Structure – 10marks
Originality/Creativity – 15marks
Plot/Plausibility – 10marks
Title – 5marks
As soon as we get results from the Judges, the qualified entrants will be notified for the next and final round.
The aim of this contest is to celebrate love and to promote and support the growing online literary community in Nigeria. Being a Relationship, Literature and lifestyle blog, ELSiEiSY is passionate about creative writing and contents. Whether you made it to the contest or not, whether you make it to the next round or not, whether you emerge as one of our 5winners or not, bear in mind that your creative contents, dreams and ambition has a home in ELSiEiSY as we understand the need for every writer be encourage and a platform to be heard.
