Days after Vincent Enyeama was listed among the players being considered for the 2014 GLO-CAF award, he has again been listed as one of the nominees for the BBC African Player of the Year award.A list of five nominees for the BBC 2014 African Player of the Year award was released on Monday with Lille and Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama as one of the players in the running, together with title holder Yaya Toure (Manchester City and Ivory Coast), who is being nominated for the sixth time, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Borussia Dortmund and Gabon), Yacine Brahimi (Porto and Algeria) and Yao Kouassi Gervais ‘Gervinho’ (AS Roma and Ivory Coast). Interestingly, all five players were on the list of 25 nominees for the 2014 GLO-CAF award, released on Thursday last week.Enyeama has kept a clean slate for his French clubside for 1062 minutes.The BBC 2014 African Footballer of the Year award winner will be announced on December 1 and fans of African football have until 18:00 GMT on Monday, 24 November to vote for the player of their choice.Only one Nigerian player – Austin Okocha – has won the BBC African Player of the Year award since its inception in 2000.
